To Busy To Workout?

Are you one of those people who's to busy to workout? You just can't find the time. You mean well and would like to find the time but it just seems impossible.

There are ways around your challenge if you think long and hard about it. There are many routines you can do. Remember a 15 to 20 minute session is better than a 0 minute session.

Keep that in your mind. Now you can exercise at home or work 3 to 4 times a week and you have your problem solved. It's that simple...really.

There is a wide array of things you do. From simple kettlebell training to bodyweight exercises.

The problem might be your consistency, and what physical activity you can do on a given day. Those two details can be solved though.

Why To Busy To Workout?

Here are a few scenarios that determine whether or not you will exercise.

  • Arrived home from work late
  • Waking up in the morning
  • A choice to watch television
  • A choice to do nothing...yes I said nothing
  • Rush hour traffic blues
  • Unexpected situations (use your imagination)

There are many more situations. However, these are just the main ones. The thought process you have from the moment these scenarios occur will determine whether or not you do anything.

I can tell you from experience after you exercise you get a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Dopamine, a chemical is released after promotes a positive feeling and helps release stress.

Exercises When You Are To Busy To Workout

Here is a simple bodyweight exercises routine that you can do at home. You can also do these workouts with weights in the gym. You can do between 10 to 20 reps or whatever you a comfortable with.

They can be done either as a circuit (one after the other) or 3 sets of each resting 30 seconds between each set. If done as a circuit rest about 1 to 2 minutes between each circuit.

  • Pushups
  • Squats
  • Pullups
  • Lunges
  • Decline pushups (feet elevated)
  • Step-ups (step up on an high surface and repeat with other leg)

If you are in a gym.

  • Bench press
  • Squats with weights
  • Pullups or curls
  • Lunges with weights
  • Incline bench press
  • Calf raises
As you can, see even though you may be to busy to workout you have to decide to do it. Just do it. Remember, discipline is doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done whether you want to or not.

My question would then be how disciplined are you. Whether you do bodyweight physical fitness at home, kettlebell training or even become a member at a gym you have to be consistant.
