Build Muscle and Strength
So you want to build muscle. Pack on the pounds. Do you want to look like the superheroes in the movies?
People who usually have a nice physique look good. When a guy throws on a shirt it usually falls nicely over his muscular frame. You can see his form even though he has on the shirt. He's in great shape.
Also, observe a confident woman with a nice figure walking across a room. She's sure to capture the attention of everyone in her presence.
You can always tell when someone is involved in weight training or muscle building workouts.
How do you get there?
You just START.
You can do weight training at the gym or at home. Overtime you can build up on a few pieces of equipment or build your own home gym. It depends on whether you want to rub shoulders with other like minded people or you like the comfort and convenience of home. You can do both for days that you can't make it to the gym.
Pick Up Some Weights and Get Started
In order to build muscle your body has to have resistance going against it. You have to challenge your body. Gym workouts or anywhere that has weights provide the ideal muscle workout for your body. Even if you're a skinny guy you can build muscle.
Weights allow you to increase your resistance and increase your size. When you do muscle building workouts your muscle will hypertorphy or increase in size or get thicker. They also split through a process known as hyperplasia.
Your body then gets stronger. You'll be able to lift more. The more you can lift the stronger you become and the more mass you gain. You can then add more weight to your resistance and repeat the cycle. Our bodies adapt and change to any situation, getting stronger is no different.

Train With Intensity To Build Muscle
If time is an issue and you can't spend a lot of time in the gym building muscle then train like there is no tomorrow. Even if you have time train with the same intensity.
Muscle building workouts do not need to be super long. Try and keep your workouts within an hour. If you can superset then go for it. Work an upper body (bench press) then switch to a lower body workout (squats). These workouts allow the other muscle group that is not being worked on to rest while a muscle group is always being worked on. This is an effective way to build muscle fast and see great gains.
Vary Your Workouts
In order to gain muscle it is important that you change up your workouts. However, do not go drastic too soon because your body will need to improve and develop with your current workout. It is better to be consistant and improve on one program at a time. Allow at least 6 weeks until you are ready for another muscle building workout. Even try a bodyweight routine with your current workout plan.
When you are ready to move then you can change the number of sets, reps or order of exercise. You can also choose among circuit training, compound or isolated movements, dumbells or barbells. Also, increase the amount of resistance building muscle.
Eat The Right Foods
You have to give your body the nourishment it needs to build muscle. Eat enough food because after your weight training session your body needs food to recover and grow. Eat between 5 to 6 meals a day. Breakfast is going to be the biggest meal of the day. This is where you literally give yourself a running start. Clearly, this is going to be the most important meal so don't skip it.
The more unprocessed foods you eat the better off you are.
You should get your proteins, carbs and fats from whole
sources. Just to name a few...
Chicken, Turkey, Fish, Eggs
Sweet Potato, Oats, Brown Rice, Fruits and Veggies
Avocado, Almonds and Walnuts, Olive Oil, Coconut Milk
Eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Have a protein, carb and fat with every meal. Protein is very important for building muscle and carbs are important for energy. Fats may be misunderstood and considered a bad things. However, also known as lipids coming from the right source it provides the body with energy.
Keep Pressing On
With the right knowledge, right action and the right foods you are on your way to build muscle.
Muscle building workouts are challenging and at times you will want to quit. However, don't quit when the going gets tough. Push until you see results. Even when you are getting results going to the next level can be challenging. That's why it's called going to the next level. Keep your weight training goal in front of you at all times.
