Get Lean Results With High Intensity Interval Training HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

What is HIIT?

This is a type of exercise and cardio performed at such an intense level that it causes your body to continue burning fat hours after you are finished working out.

This type of post workout activity does not even occur after a long moderate treadmill exercise. That is why people who have the ability to engage in any high intensity exercise should do it if they want to see results and save on time spent doing any type of physical activity.

Take up the challenge to see faster and leaner results.

You may already be in shape but have a little fat in the stomach area that you want to get rid of. It is like a sculpter taking the chisel to chip away at all the last layers of clay needed to make a finished masterpiece. If you consider yourself far away from your goals then the sculpter just has a little bit more to get rid of.

Look at sprinters who do HIIT. They are cut and ripped. On the other hand long distance runners are lean without the muscle.

This type of exercise increases your endurance and stamina. Whether you are an athlete or need to go the extra mile in a round of MMA you will see positive results.

Your body now has the ability to take in larger amounts of oxygen during physical activity. This is also known as VO2 max.

The monotony that may occur with a medium paced workout is replaced with a shorter more challenging routine.

Even though it can also be quite challenging when you do a high intense exercise you feel like you have achieved a goal at the end. You also spend less time doing this type of workout than if you were running on a threadmill and you burn more fat.

The Truth About Six Pack Abs

A HIIT Routine

  • Warm-up for 5 mins (lightly skip or jog)
  • Sprint on spot, threadmill or field for 30 seconds
  • Jog in place or on threadmill for 30 seconds
  • Jumping Jacks for 30 seconds
  • Jog in place or on threadmill for 30 seconds
  • Squat for 30 seconds
  • Push ups for 30 seconds
  • Do this 8 times for a total of 24 minutes.

This type of exercise helps you to lose overall body fat. Not just fat in some areas. If it's too difficult just cut down the time to 4 or 6 times. That will reduce the time it takes to complete the workout. This type of workout is a very intense exercise. Therefore, you should consult your medical professional before doing this type of exercise. If you can do it the benefits from doing this type of exercise are far reaching.
