This may be a little difficult to adhere too because we tend to eat when it is convenient and we eat until we are filled. However healthy eating habits begin with more but less.

This can help you curb your apetite and ensure that you are energized throughout the day.

If you really want to burn fat fast then 6 smaller meals a day do the trick. Your metabolism will be boosted and you will burn more calories.

A Suggested Eating Schedule

  • 6:30 a.m breakfast
  • 9:30 a.m. snack
  • 12:30 p.m. lunch
  • 3:30 p.m. snack
  • 6:30 p.m. dinner
  • 9:30 p.m. snack

Last Meal Should Be 2 to 3 Hours Before You Sleep

Good eating habits will ensure that you give your stomach enough time to digest before you turn in for the night. It is not neccessarily about having your last meal by 6:00 p.m. or some random time.

Only you can know your schedule and when the time is right to have 6 small meals a day. Remember if you are going to bed late then you may have to squeeze in another snack. Give your stomach about 2 to 3 hours to digest before you go to bed.

However, use good judgement. You should not eat heavy foods like meat or potatoes. Eat a lighter snack like some crackers and chesse or fresh fruits. Healthy eating habits will allow your body to refresh itself for another day instead of using energy to digest food.

I once heard someone in the gym say that nothing was wrong with eating fry chicken. They reasoned that it was still protein. That type of thinking definitely does not fall into good eating habits.

It is not only about eating 6 meals a day but it is about eating six healthy meals. When you eat try to incorporate a carb, protein and fat into each meal. Also, if possible the healthy kind. For example, bake or grilled chicken not fried.

Try to incorporate healthy eating habits as much as possible. Go for consistancy. You may not be perfect all the time but work on getting there. Remember all those sensible meals when they are evenly spaced out will burn fat fast.

Exercise and Good Eating

If you combine good eating habits and exercise then your body becomes a fat burning furnace. Your body will have no choice but to burn fat fast.

You will also have a good feeling of satisfaction after you exercise. This can also help you to not overeat during periods of stress or emotional turmoil. Exercise will be a great stress reliever.

You will not resort to overeating because the chemicals or endorphins released in your body after exercise will help you to feel less down.

Preparation Gets You There

A major factor associated with good eating habits is preparation. Knowing what you will eat on a day to day basis will help you to eat the right foods.

If you do not like to be in the kitchen too much then know what the various restaurants in your area offers. Look for the ones that offer the foods that are part of your diet plan. Healthy eating habits are planned events.

On the other hand if you are in the kitchen you should prepare your meals in bulk so that there is enough to last at least 2 to 3 days. All you have to do is heat up and presto you have a meal.
